Annual Means of the
Geomagnetic Field Elements
The annual values
of the elements of the Earth’s magnetic field, recorded by geomagnetic
observatories around the world, are presented as separate files on our ftp server. They contain the averaged annual data for each station for the entire available observation time.
In addition, all data can be obtained through the interactive map.
The data were provided by IZMIRAN.
Data format:
Line 1: 3-letter code and the name of the observatory
Line 2: coordinates rounded to minutes and height (m), if known
Line 3: header of the data table with the designation of the observation
period and the components of the magnetic field vector
Line 4 and further: data rounded to integers (nT) or tenths of minutes for angular components
