Marine Magnetic Survey Results
Marine geophysical observations include bathymetry, magnetic, gravity and seismic (analog forms)
data that have been collected in scientific expeditions of marine research vessels from 1953 till present time.
The marine cruises were carried out by the oceanographic institutes and national agencies of the different countries.
Data are stored in the database
"GEODAS"
that is an interactive database management system developed by the National Geophysical Data Center (USA).
All geophysical data have coordinate and time binding and are represented in
MGD77 format.
The results of the magnetic surveys fulfilled in cruises of the USSR research vessels are represented below.
The information on each cruise is presented in two files.
One file - cruise title - contains the complete information about cruise as a whole.
The other file contains the data received on the points of measurements.
