1) Historic magnetograms (up to 1958), recorded at the observatories Irkutsk, Kazan, Moscow, Odessa, Srednikan, Sverdlovsk, Tashkent, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk converted to digital images in the course of the international project "Saving the old analog magnetograms".
The project was conducted in 2003 by the International Council for Science ("Rescue of Old Analogue Magnetograms by converting to digital images", ICSU Grant–2003 Project).
Magnetograms other observatories that have been converted into digital images with the implementation of this project, submitted on the site of the World Data Center for Geomagnetism in Kyoto, Japan.

2) Magnetograms observatories Lvov and Odessa converted into digital images directly in the observatories during the implementation of the international project "Rescue magnetograms observatories of the former Soviet Union", supported by the Committee on World Data Centres of the International Council for Science (Rescue of magnetograms from observatories of the former Soviet Union, ICSU Panel on WDCs).
Magnetograms filmed by 5-megapixel digital camera Sony DCC-F707 with 2560x1920 resolution (120 pixels/inch).

3) Magnetograms observatories Artie (1999-2002), Moscow, Magadan converted into digital images in the World Data Center for Solar-Terrestrial Physics in Moscow.
Part of the magnetograms scanned on a flatbed scanner HP ScanJet 6300C with a resolution of 300 pixels/inch. Tablet size A4, so each magnetogram is divided into 3 images.
Another part of the magnetograms photographed by 5-megapixel digital camera Sony DCC-F707 with a resolution of 2560x1920 (120 pixels/inch).

4) Magnetograms Geophysical Observatory "Kluchi" (Novosibirsk) converted to digital images by scanning with financial support of the Russian Fund of Basic Research (RFBR), project 05-07-90030 "Creating a database analog magnetograms of observatory "Kluchi" (Novosibirsk)", supervisor Sergey Y. Khomutov.

5) Pictures of magnetograms with the Observatory "South Pole" provided to the WDC for STP by Dr. Alexander N.Zaitsev (Institute of Terrestrial Magnetism and Radio Wave Propagation RAS, Troitsk)..

6) The scanning of magnetograms of Geophysical Observatory "Paratunka" IKIR FEB RAS (Kamchatka, Russia) were preformed with finansial support of VarSITI program (http://www.varsiti.org), grant "The creation of the database of images of old analogue magnetograms of Geophysical Observatory "Paratunka", Kamchatka, Russia, 1967-2006", coordinator Sergey Y. Khomutov (2014).
Magnetograms converted into digital images by scanning on a flatbed scanner A4 models of HP ScanJet G2710 and HP ScanJet 4600 with a resolution of 300x300 dpi for files in TIFF-format and 200x200 dpi for twenty-four-hour files saved in JPEG-format.
