The Editorial Board of the journal includes leading geophysicists of Russia and China. The selection of articles for publication is based on anonymous refereeing, performed by a group of competent independent experts.
The Editor-in-Chief from the Russian side is the Director General of the RAS JIPE, RAS academician, Professor Vladimir N. Strakhov. From the Chinese side, Professor Fang Zhangshun is the Honorary Editor-in-Chief, and Professor Zhang Guomin is the Editor-in-Chief.
The journal has a periodicity of 4 issues per year. At present (December 1997) 20 issues of the journal has been published ( see Contents). Articles are accepted in the Russian language (for Russia and CIS countries) and in English (for other countries).
